LOCG Fans will remember Paul as the "Donut Preacher"
For his day job, Paul likes to stir shit up: ![]() |
I’ve just returned from an IWF Wrestling match at the Putnam Co Fair. On the walk up to the stadium I ran into the Torture King and his girl at the Church of God hamburger stand. TK is doing well and touring a lot. He has a new trick in his traveling sideshow: He swallows a string, cuts his gut with a razor and pull the string out of his intestines. He makes the old string through the nose trick in collage look tame. TK is also sporting two new tattoos, a fanged skull on his left had (looks like a Neanderthal or Australopithecus) and complex design with a Puerto Rican flag.
The wrestling show was very well attended considering it was Wednesday night and raining. A mass of fans gathered under the stadium awing but some hard-core fans sat in the seats around the ring. Many trophy belts changed hands that day and the battle royal was not to be missed – especially the Fist Full of Crows playing the Battle Royal with Cheese theme song. I can hear Josh singing “underground, underground” with Elizabeth laying down the bass and the Senator himself tearing up the drums. I can tell you this, when we make a second film the IWF boys are ready for battle and blood. (note: The wrestling match was the only event at the fair not covered by WCTE public television) |
hello everyone.
just a quick post to say hi to you all, and to let you all know about some of the other great films around at the moment... Documentary highlights which should be playing in a town near you: Los Angeles Plays itself. The Yes Men. The Corporation. Farenheit 9/11-- Go see this.Even if you think Michael Moore is an idiot, or love gee Dubya bush, go see it. Yes, in a way it's lefty propaganda, but the whole US mainstream media is right wing propaganda, so see this film and get some balance! Ramones: End of the Century. Metallica: Some kind of monster. The Five Obstructions.---- a great exploration of the artist at work. The closest to genius that I've seen lately. TinTin Et Moi. Screaming Men. My Favourite new Horror (Apart from Crazy George of course): Shaun of the Dead. Peace, Marcel xxxx |
